PREEMINENT STAMFORD BUSINESS LAW ATTORNEYS FORM

Kiernan Herner LLP

Stamford, Connecticut- October 1, 2014- Two preeminent business lawyers, Vincent M. Kiernan and Donald A. Herner, are pleased to announce the formation of their Stamford, Connecticut based firm Kiernan Herner LLP, effective October 1, 2014. The firm will offer the expertise of a sophisticated corporate practice with the focus, attention and responsiveness of a specialized boutique corporate firm. The firms’ primary goal will be to help clients achieve their economic objectives while minimizing their business and legal risks.  Whether representing a client on a transactional matter or serving as the client’s alternative to in-house counsel, attorneys of the firm will actively partner with clients to leverage their legal and industry knowledge to provide effective business and legal advice that goes beyond other corporate counsel.

Both Vinny Kiernan and Don Herner are seasoned business advisors with strong educational backgrounds, and have over 70 years of combined professional experience. They provide effective and practical counsel in all substantive areas of business law to individual and corporate clients at all stages of their personal and corporate development. Clients of Kiernan  Herner operate in a broad range of service, manufacturing, financial and technology industries.

Vinny is a former corporate partner of Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP, and was the partner-in-charge of its Stamford, Connecticut office.   Don was the founder and named corporate partner of the Stamford based firm Herner & Associates, LLC, after practicing for several years with Anderson Kill in NYC.  Vinny and Don will be joined by Melissa M. Taub, a former partner in the business clients group of Cummings & Lockwood, and the former General Counsel of priceline.com.

“The formation of our new firm allows us to continue to serve clients with a high degree of personalization and attention but without the overhead of a larger corporate practice,” said Vinny.  “It also permits greater latitude in learning the business of our clients and understanding their goals and objectives’” added Don.  “This is consistent with our goal to serve each client with the highest degree of personal service and efficiency, one client at a time.”
